The Forest District Krzystkowice runs educational activity for children and young people. They support 11 schools in the administrative district of the Forest District. Apart from lectures given by foresters in schools, forest education is also provided through selected facilities.

  • Educational room. It is located in the Forest District seat.  It is equipped with audio-visual devices, boards, exhibits, books and magazines  and many other educational aids.
  • Educational trail "Krzystkowice" is situated  near Nowogród Bobrzański. It is a forest nature interpretive educational trail and was established in 1998 to make both visitors and foresters familiar with forest as it is.  The trail length is 2,5 km ( 2,5 h walk) . Along the trail there are marked  16 stops showing forest various aspects, such as forest protection, breeding, utilization and hunting.
  • Educational trail "The Szyszyna river Valley" was established in 2002 and runs through the countryside of Biedrzychowice forest range.  On the length of 1,9 km (2h walk) there are marked 5 stations. The trail goes along the beautifully winding through gorges the Szyszyna river and is a part of the tourist trail Lubsko-Gorzupia Dolna. The peculiarities of the trail include natural monuments and rare plant species. The route runs near  the early Medieval Lusatian culture settlement dating from 8th century A.D.
  • Forestnursery and selective seed breeding farm. The Nursery Tuchola and Bieniów selective seed breeding farm are the objects which are frequently used  for educational purposes of the Forest District Krzystkowice – mainly to run workshops on plant growing and tending.
  • Forestmemorial room. It was established by Bogusław Szwichtenberg, a Forster of Biedrzychowice, who managed to collect by himself  as many as half a thousand exhibits. The exhibits give information on how forests were managed just after Poland had regained its independence. The facilities make it also possible to learn about how development of technology contributes to forestry works.  Visitors can make use of maps, old magazines, forest papers, a large forest documentation as well as of equipment and  tools used in breeding, forest protection and utilization, such as the  first chainsaw, barking devices, wild blackberries picking devices and many more. The room is visited by school groups as well as by individuals.
  • Automatic meteorology station near the Forest District seat.
