In 2014 The Forest District Krzystkowice implemented the project entitled „Promotion of the Cross-border Cooperation Between the Forest District Krzystkowice and Landratsamat Bautzen Kreisforstamt".
The Project comprised modernization of the website of the Forest District Krzystkowice where visitors can find information on the project partners. The website is available in three language versions: Polish, German and English.
The website www.krzystkowice.zielonagora.lasy.gov.pl provides interesting information on forests, nature and tourist attractions of the area. It also gives the necessary information for those who are fond of wandering through forests. The website is regularly updated to make all news and announcements available to the community. The website has a beautiful graphic design which encourages visitors to come to the areas of the Forest District Krzystkowice.
The project has contributed to the development of the cooperation with foresters from Saxony and has enhanced mutual understanding. This refers not only to the differences in state, but also land regulations.
The project entitled „Promotion of Cross-border Copoperation Between the Forest District Krzystkowice and Landratsamat Bautzen Kreisforstamt" was financed from Small projects Funds as part of the Cross-border Cooperation Operational Programme POLAND- SAXONY for the period 2007-2013.
